Affirming Our City

March 10th – 5:00 pm

Join us for an impactful evening featuring “Royalty” affirmation stories from residents sharing their experiences with urban gun violence and their efforts to break the cycle.
In addition, we’ll raise awareness about the complexities of youth violence in Roanoke, with insights from the Youth and Gang Violence Prevention Team on their prevention strategies.

We’ll also host a discussion with city residents and organizations to share and gather information on preventing further violence involving our youth.

Don’t miss out on hearing from the Youth and Gang Violence Prevention Coordinator, Christopher Roberts, who will share valuable perspectives on what Roanoke communities and organizations need to move forward successfully.
