I volunteer for the Sjogren's (pronounced "SHOW'-grins") Syndrome Foundation and exhibit at health fairs to educate the public about this little-known autoimmune disease (similar to lupus) that affects 4 million Americans, second only to rheumatoid arthritis in prevalence. Please advise about place, time, and registration. If in a sunny area, may I use my pop-up vendor canopy for shade? The local Lupus Foundation of Virginia, Roanoke Chapter, is also interested in participating. Their contact is Margaret Stultz, bonsyi@cox.net, or the Lupus Line at 772-4455. We usually work together, as some of our patients have both diseases. If they also register, we would like to be assigned adjoining tables.
