A museum experience unlike any other
Storykeepers’ Studio is the interpretive heart of the museum. Here, our exhibitions become a springboard for live storytelling, performance, and community creation. We draw from the histories in our galleries and invite the public to shape new work rooted in those legacies, ensuring that the story continues to evolve in the hands of the community.
We celebrate storytelling in all its forms — spoken, written, embodied, musical, and performed.

- Live performances (theatre, music,
movement-based work) - Reading series (new writing, poetry, scripts,
essays, and works-in-progress) - Acting, music, improvisation, and
movement/dance training
- Storytelling and oral history workshops
- Artist-led labs and creative residencies
- Community storytelling gatherings
- Experimental and collaborative work that
does not fit neatly into traditional categories
